Installing the B5L24-67901 M552 M577 M553 Transfer Belt.
Turn the printer off and unplug the power cord.
Open the right side cover.
Locate the steel wire locking springs located on the left and right near the transfer belt knobs. Pull down and toward the center of the printer and let them rise up. Position them on the printer frame to keep them out of the way.
Locate the blue lock lever on the right side of the transfer belt inside the printer. Pull toward you.
The transfer belt assembly has two black handles, grab the handles and gently pull the transfer belt out and down towards you and remove it from the machine.
Install the new transfer belt assembly in the reverse manner; make sure it is seated well, and then close the door. In the next step you will reset the fuser page count.
